The ‘A’ Team
The 'A' Team was formed from the house band for the Johnny Vaughan Tonight show and features Simon Cowell’s vocal coach from the X Factor, Craig David’s guitarist, Jools Holland’s bass player, Ronnie Scott’s resident drummer, Simply Red’s keyboard player and of course Simon! This band plays almost any song you can think of and is extremely popular for the more traditional party tunes by artists from the sixties right up to the current chart hits.
Slam!
A more compact guitar led outfit with male vocals. This band has a rockier, raw sound that really packs a punch.
Jazz Bands
Whether you need a big band or a trio, Simon can provide you with the perfect combinationHe uses the UK’s top musicians from the BBC Big Band, Jools Holland Big Band, Jamie Cullum and Ronnie Scott’s amongst many others. A fantastic testament to the quality of jazz Simon provides is the Loxwood Jazz and Blues Club which has sold out every evening since its launch.
Duos Simon has a dazzling repertoire and often works with just one other musician to great effect. The line-up could include saxophone, clarinet and flute with piano, keyboards, organ or guitar for maximum variety.
